- 3Play → Multiplayer → Add Server → paste the address
- 4It's whitelisted: request access below, and Jake will add you
Setting up All the Mods 11
About 15 minutes the first time, most of it downloading. You'll need Minecraft: Java Edition on your Microsoft account, and a computer with 16 GB of memory or more.
- Install the CurseForge app. Download it from curseforge.com/download/app (Windows, macOS or Linux) and install it. When it asks which game, pick Minecraft.
- Find the modpack. In the app, open Minecraft, go to Browse (or the modpacks list) and search for All the Mods 11. Open it.
- Install the server's version: . On the modpack's page, open the Versions tab, find All the Mods 11- and click Install. It has to match the server exactly; a newer version won't be able to join.
- Give it enough memory. Click Settings (bottom left), then Minecraft under game settings, and scroll to Java Settings. Set Allocated Memory to 8–10 GB (8192–10240 MB). Less than 8 and the pack struggles; more than about half your computer's memory starves everything else.
- Launch it. Go to My Modpacks, click All the Mods 11, then Play. The Minecraft launcher opens; sign in with your Microsoft account if it asks, then press Play there too. The first launch takes a few minutes. That's normal.
-
Add the server.
At the title screen choose Multiplayer → Add Server. Name it anything, set the address to
craft2.jakebondar.com, then Done. - Get on the whitelist. Use Request to join on this page with your Minecraft username. Once Jake approves it, join the server from the Multiplayer list.
If something goes wrong
- "Mod list mismatch" or "incompatible" when joining
- Your pack version doesn't match the server. In My Modpacks, open All the Mods 11, go to its Versions tab and install .
- The game crashes or freezes while loading
- Usually memory. Raise Allocated Memory (step 4) to at least 8 GB and close other big programs.
- "You are not white-listed on this server"
- Your request hasn't been approved yet, or the username doesn't match. Send one with Request to join, spelled exactly as it is in Minecraft.
